Overview
At the heart of our vineyard and golf estate you'll find our boutique winery, which was built in 2002 under the supervision of a team that included engineers, architects and enologists. The winery sits eight hundred meters (2625 feet) above sea level and is housed in a single integrated structure that features three main sections: the Elaboration and Conservation area, the Cask Room (or Wine Cave), and the Lab and Tasting Room; which boasts an expansive view overlooking our vineyards, golf green, and the Sierra Pintada Mountains in the distance.The Elaboration and Conservation room lay at ground level and was recently upgraded and expanded to accommodate a new storage capacity of 161,000 liters (typically, one liter yields about one bottle of wine) within concrete and stainless steel tanks. The vat model allows the grapes to enter the vat at mouth level so the wine can be prepared without excessive handling of the must.
Our Cask Room is underground, and is designed to achieve the ideal humidity level and temperature for wine rest. This area serves for storage and barrel aging, and here you may find hundreds of French and American Oak barrels in which our vintages are aged from 9 to 24 months, depending on the desired qualities. After barrel aging, the wine may be bottled and stored here for an additional year. The Cask Room can accommodate over 71,000 bottles of wine.
The Lab is where our enologists continually inspect and supervise the elaboration process. This constant supervision by our onsite experts safeguards the quality of our wines. On this level, you'll also find our Tasting Room. From this vantage point you can take in the magnificence of the estate's breadth, as you enjoy a glass of one of our remarkable vintages.
Our boutique winery's outstanding collection includes Malbec, Malbec Rose, Malbec/Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet/Syrah, Cabernet/Merlot, Merlot, Bonarda, Blend Rose, Chardonnay and our very special Grand Blend. Craftsmanship and tradition, combined with state-of-the-art technology, allow us to obtain only the highest quality of wines.
